Horse Trails & Camping

We have five sites available for self containing horse trailers with living quarters or truck campers. All sites will have electric and water available at the rate of $28.00/per night. All sites are to be booked by reservations only. These sites are all fine shell filled with no grass in parking area. Campfires are permitted in designated area only. We have no on-site dumping station at this time.

We also have other facilities available for our guests that do not have living quarters or campers with the horse trailers. We have a very rustic, old log cabin available with a great view of the lake. See Rustic Cabin Rental.

All trail riding will be with supervision of a guide. How long you request your ride to be is up to you and your other campers. Most of the trails are on existing road beds and old logging roads, with very little roadside riding. We can break when you like with your group, rest, eat, or maybe swim if you want. We can ride again, for a few more hours, and rest again, you let us know. Upon booking, arrangements, length of rides will all be discussed so each rider and camper will be individually setup and the guide can be prepared. Again, all rides will be guided so our riders enjoy the ride without the worry of looking at trail maps. The fee for guiding will be $7.00 per horse per day. Smaller groups of campers will have a $40.00 minimum charge per day.

For those horseback riders that would like to park and ride without camping, a $20.00 parking fee will be charged. All guide fees will be charged the same as the camper’s fee, $7.00 per horse or minimum trail guide charge of $40.00 for smaller groups. All arrangements must be booked in advance. These riders must be registered and rules will be discussed upon booking. Again, the parking area is on private property, with all access to trails from camping area only.
